What is Mother's Day ?

mother's day its a day dedicated to mothers and the strong bonds that they share with their kids.

It is a day to honor your mother and celebrate the relationship they have with you.

This day comes once a year on Mother's Day, on the third Sunday in May. It is celebrated mostly by women and children of all ages.

Mother's Day can be wonderful if it is celebrated well. When it is an over-celebrated holiday, Mother's Day can turn into a stressful time filled with shopping for gifts more suitable than ever . There are many activities that can be done on this special day. The most common thing is to prepare the best food for mom and to do things with your mother. You may want to make her favorite dishes or take her somewhere nice.

The first Mother’s Day was celebrated on May 10, 1908, in Grafton, West Virginia, by Anna Jarvis. Since Jarvis was a child, she had lost both of her parents and she became obsessed with honoring her mother's memory. She even sent a letter to President Woodrow Wilson and asked him to officially recognized the holiday in 1914; however it wasn't until 1972 that Congress made it an official United States holiday. In the Philippines, Mother's Day is celebrated on the second Sunday of May, during the celebration of the festival of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, a Catholic feast day.

Mother's Day is celebrated for various reasons. Some people do it to honor their mothers and grandmothers for all that they have done for them in life. Others do it to honor and celebrate all mothers, whether they are matriarchs or single parents who are raising children by themselves. Some celebrate this holiday to honor those who have adopted children into their homes and therefore added an addition to their family; either temporarily or permanently.

A Mother's day card is a good way to show thanks your mom for everything she has done for you. Many people choose to make their own card for their mother, and use a variety of different materials. Some mothers prefer to have cards that are more expensive, while others like the homemade ones. It is all up to the receiver. That is why it is hard to say what kind of card you should give your mom on Mother's day. Cards are a great way to say how much she means to you.

We're About To See the Most Powerful Corvette Chevy Has Ever Made

The 2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 is here—well almost—and thanks to a leaked image of the December 2017 issue of Car and Driver, we’re getting a first look at the hotly anticipated sports car.

Forums as well as Corvette Blogger have speculated that the ZR1 will have its big reveal at the Dubai Motor Show this Saturday. Chevrolet confirmed the Saturday reveal in a post on Instagram.
What we know so far: the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 has a 750 horsepower engine. There are a few changes from the Corvette Z06, including a rear spoiler wing that is adjustable and contributes to 500 pounds of downforce at speed and front slightly wheels that are a half an inch wider.
The car is reportedly heavier than the Z06, has a new fuel delivery system, additional heat exchangers, removable top. It’s also supposed to be faster than the Zo6.
Oh, and the ZR1, which will be available as a 7-speed manual and 8-speed automatic, can reportedly shoot flames out from its exhaust. We’re waiting on confirmation for that one.

People Should be Careful of Health Apps on Smartphones

Health applications on mobile devices such as smartphones have many benefits. For instance, they contribute to enhancing fitness and protecting against illness. But users should be cautious, as many health app developers do not belong to the healthcare field, according to Dr. Urs-Vito Albrecht, deputy director of the Health Information Institute at the Hannover School of Medicine in Germany.

One area of research for Albrecht is to monitor the benefits and risks of health applications on smart devices. Here are some tips on how users know whether the health application is reliable or not:

-Content monitoring: Medical experts review the content of the app. Their names should be mentioned, as well as other references such as clinical trials.

- Acceptance of information: Each medical community sets out guidelines on how to treat a particular disease. The tips in the app should follow those guidelines.

- Data protection: The application’s developer should explain how the user's personal data will be used; the app should ask only for the necessary data.

- Transparency: A reliable application will make it easy to know who invented it and how it receives payments. Of course, it must be free from advertising and provide communication information in case of inquiries.

- Easy comprehension: The application that focuses on exercises, for example, shows how to perform certain movements in an easy-to-understand-way, with the help of pictures or videos.

People from outside the medical community may find it difficult to adequately assess some of the above mentioned points. Users who are skeptical of the correct application used to check their weight or build muscles, should consult a doctor. So far there is no government agency that tests and evaluates health applications.

Eminem's and Beyoncé returns on 'Walk on Water' video and lyrics

Two new Beyoncé features in two months? That's good news for fans awaiting the singer's post-twins return.

After lending her vocals to a charity remix of J Balvin and Willy William's Mi Gente, Bey returned Friday with a feature on Eminem's surprise new single Walk on Water. The new single is the rapper's latest endeavor since his polarizing anti-Trump freestyle at the BET Hip Hop Awards last month, and his first single since 2015.
It's not often listeners get a ballad from Eminem, but Walk on Water is a moving return for the two stars that sees them on equal footing, opening with soulful vocals from Bey before the rapper's introspective verses.
There's still plenty of bragging as Em looks back on his career, reminding fans of one of his enduring hits, rapping, "(Expletive), I wrote Stan."
While the rapper hasn't confirmed that Walk on Water is part of a forthcoming larger release, fans have speculated that a new Eminem album may be arriving soon. In recent weeks, his social media feeds have featured cryptic posts about a mysterious drug named "Revival," including a teaser from several days ago with a written prescription, recommending to “walk on water.”
Expect to hear the song during Eminem's upcoming Nov. 18performance on Saturday
---------------------------
[Chorus: Beyoncé]
I walk on water
But I ain't no Jesus
I walk on water
But only when it freezes (fuck)

[Verse 1: Eminem]
Why are expectations so high? Is it the bar I set?
My arms, I stretch, but I can’t reach
A far cry from it, or it's in my grasp, but as
Soon as I grab, squeeze
I lose my grip like the flying trapeze
Into the dark, I plummet, now the sky's blackening
I know the mark’s high
Butterflies rip apart my stomach
Knowing that no matter what bars I come with
You're gonna harp, gripe, and
That's a hard Vicodin to swallow, so I scrap these
As pressure increases like khakis
I feel the ice cracking, because—

[Chorus: Beyoncé]
I walk on water
But I ain't no Jesus
I walk on water (shit)
But only when it freezes

[Verse 2: Eminem]
It's the curse of the standard
That the first of the Mathers disc set
Always in search of the verse that I haven't spit yet
Will this step just be another misstep, to tarnish
Whatever the legacy, love or respect I've garnered?
The rhyme has to be perfect, the delivery flawless
And it always feels like I'm hittin’ the mark
’Til I go sit in the car, listen and pick it apart
Like, "This shit is garbage!"
God's given me all this, still I feel no different regardless
Kids look to me as a god, this is retarded
If only they knew, it’s a facade and it's exhaustive
And I try to not listen to nonsense
But if you bitches are tryin' to strip me of my confidence
Mission accomplished
I'm not God-sent, Nas, Rakim, Pac, B.I.G., James Todd Smith
And I’m not Prince, so…

[Chorus: Beyoncé]
I walk on water
But I ain't no Jesus
I walk on water
But only when it freezes

[Post-Chorus: Beyoncé]
'Cause I'm only human, just like you
Making my mistakes, oh if you only knew
I don't think you should believe in me the way that you do
'Cause I'm terrified to let you down, oh

[Verse 3: Eminem]
It's true, I'm a Rubik's—a beautiful mess
At times juvenile, yes, I goof and I jest
A flawed human, I guess
But I'm doin' my best to not ruin your ex–
pectations and meet 'em, but first
The "Speedom" verse, now Big Sean
He's going too fast, is he gonna shout or curse out his mom?
There was a time I had the world by the balls, eating out my palm
Every album song I was spazzin' the fuck out on
And now I'm gettin' clowned and frowned on
But the only one who's looking down on
Me that matters now's DeShaun
Am I lucky to be around this long?
Begs the question though
Especially after the methadone
As yesterday fades and the Dresden home is burnt to the ground
And all that's left of my house is lawn
The crowds are gone
And it's time to wash out the blonde
Sales decline, the curtains drawn
They're closing the set, I'm still poking my head from out behind
And everyone who has doubt, remind
Now take your best rhyme, outdo it, now do it a thousand times
Now let 'em tell ya the world no longer cares or gives a fuck about your rhymes
And as I grow outta sight, outta mind, I might go outta mine
'Cause how do I ever let this mic go without a fight
When I made a fuckin' tightrope outta twine?
But when I do fall from these heights though, I'll be fine
I won't pout or cry or spiral down or whine
But I'll decide if it's my final bow this time around, 'cause—

[Chorus: Beyoncé]
I walk on water
But I ain't no Jesus
I walk on water
But only when it freezes

[Post-Chorus: Beyoncé]
'Cause I'm only human, just like you
Making my mistakes, oh if you only knew
I don't think you should believe in me the way that you do
'Cause I'm terrified to let you down, oh
If I walked on water, I would drown

[Outro: Eminem]
'Cause I'm just a man
But as long as I got a mic, I'm godlike
So me and you are not alike
Bitch, I wrote "Stan"
*---Night Live. Potentially with Beyoncé in tow
